DESCRIPTION:Groove\, funk & fusion from a saxophone heavyweight at the height of his powers\nWe are delighted to welcome Australian/UK saxophonist and composer Brandon Allen to The Marr’s Bar with his Groove Band for an evening of groove\, funk & fusion influenced by Weather Report\, Herbie Hancock\, Eddie Harris\, John Scofield\, Tom Scott\, David Sanborn and The Brecker Brothers. \nAllen\, who also heads up the Brandon Allen Quartet / Sextet and The Stanley Turrentine Project\, has toured Internationally with the Kyle East band and performed with Eric Clapton\, Paloma Faith\, Omar Lyefook\, Gary Husband\, Adam Nussbaum\, Stefano Di Battista\, Ibrahim Maalouf and numerous others. \nThis relatively new band\, which has already enjoyed two sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s\, has an equally impressive collective CV. The lineup features Mike Outram (Carleen Anderson\, Tim Garland\, Chick Corea\, Steven Wilson\, Herbie Mann) on guitar\, Hamish Balfour (Harvey Mason\, Yolanda Charles’ Project PH\, Tenderlonious\, Odyssey\, Faze Action\, Bassically) on keys\, Chris Attwell (Valmuz) on bass and Laurie Lowe (Preston GlasgowLowe\, Robert Mitchell\, Project PH). \n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\nMusic Spoken Here is proud to offer exceptional live music experiences in Worcester at a price affordable to you.
