DESCRIPTION:“Energetic\, unapologetic hybrid of funk\, fusion and irrepressible swing” – AllAboutJazz\nLondon-based organ trio Wild Card have been described as “fearless\, because this feverish ensemble isn’t afraid to bring on the funk\, the bop\, the pop\, the swing or Afro-Blue when they want to” (Mike Jurkovic on AllAboutJazz.com). \nFormed in 2011 by French guitarist Clement Regert\, the trio have recorded six albums and played more than 200 shows around the world\, featuring guest artists including Graeme Flowers\, Rosie Turton\, Emma Rawicz\, Poppy Daniels\, Maddy Coombs and former Music Spoken Here performers Paul Booth and Alex Hitchcock.
