DESCRIPTION:Original tunes steeped in 70s jazz-funk of Herbie Hancock featuring lashings of Fender Rhodes\nDelighted to welcome Resolution 88 back to The Marr’s Bar for the fourth session in our Re:play series featuring five select bands and artists that played in our 2022/23 season when we were just getting started. \nResolution 88 have established themselves as one of the UK’s leading exponents of funk jazz. Their music fuses the sound of the modern London jazz scene with the inspirational greats of the 70’s such as Herbie Hancock’s Head Hunters and the classic Mizell Brothers productions on Blue Note and is synonymous with the beautiful sound of the Fender Rhodes. \nThe lineup features bandleader Tom O’Grady on keys and sees the return of Tom Smith on sax (Tom was a last minute dep when Tristan Banks played for us in April 2023). The lineup is completed with Tiago Coimbra (bass)\, Oli Blake (percussion) and Ric Elsworth (drums). \n\n\n\nTICKETSMusic Spoken Here is proud to offer exceptional live music experiences in Worcester at a price affordable to you.
