Become a Music Spoken Here Club Member

Becoming a member is a great way to support Music Spoken Here and the continuation of exceptional live music in Worcester. For £18 per month, our Club Members get:

  • Free entry to all Music Spoken Here events (every other Thursday and occasional Saturdays)
  • Reserved seating
  • A super-cool Music Spoken Here t-shirt of your choice
  • The opportunity to participate in discussions and planning for future Music Spoken Here events

By joining our Members Club, you agree to be added to our mailing list to receive news and updates. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link in the emails.

Can I get joint membership?

At the moment we are only offering individual memberships. Only the person named in the membership order will have access to the member benefits. Member benefits are not transferrable.

How are payments managed?

Membership payments are managed through our online payment provider Stripe. Your membership will be set up using your preferred payment method (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay) and will be charged on the same date every month until you cancel your membership. You can view, update or cancel your membership at any time through the Stripe online Customer Portal. A link to the portal will be sent to you when you join.

I’ve just joined – what now?

You should have received an automated email receipt from Music Spoken Here sent to the email address you entered on the payment form. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam / junk folder. The email includes a link to manage your membership through the Customer Portal.

You will be added to our Club Members mailing list and will receive a Welcome email and other news and updates. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the Unsubscribe link in the emails.

Your name will be added to the Club Members List so just give your name on the door for free entry to all our events while your membership remains active. If you have not received your welcome email or have any questions or concerns, please email info@musicspokenhere.club and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. You will receive a link to the portal when you join. Membership benefits will continue for the next event immediately after your cancellation and will then end.

Do I need to show proof of membership on the door?

No, your name will be on the Members List on the door. Just give your full name (as entered when you sign up) on the door and you can go in without payment. Membership benefits are only available to the named member and are not transferrable.

How does reserved seating work?

Seats will be reserved on the tables nearest to the stage for the number of active members at the start of each event. Any seats not occupied by the time the main performance starts will be offered to non-members if they do not already have a seat. If you expect to arrive after the main performance has started, email (info@musicspokenhere.club) or send a text (07989 745955) and we’ll keep your seats.

How do members participate in discussions and planning of future events?

You will be added to the Club Members mailing list and from time to time will receive invitations to share your ideas, join online discussions, meetings or other members-only events. You are under no obligation to participate if you prefer not to.
