Straddling the line between popular accessibility and the “Quark, strangeness & charm” of progressive rock

Formed by award winning vocalist Zoë Gilby and multi-instrumentalist Andy Champion as a studio project during COVID lockdown, Living in Shadows released their eponymously titled debut album in 2020. In 2024, their follow up album ‘Neon Burning’ on Lamplight Social Records saw a development in their original identity, building confidence in a more progressive sound.

The duo on the recording has been expanded to a five-piece band for their increasingly popular live performances, fronted by Zoë with Andy on bass and synths, Mark Williams on guitar, Ben Lawrence on keyboards and John Bradford on drums.
